Ano ang pipiliin mo? Pag-ibig o Paghihiganti? (Will you choose love? Or revenge?)
Back when I was in fourth year high school, our teacher gave us a project where we would have to create a movie adaptation of Dr. Jose Rizal’s El Filibusterismo. We finished creating the movie but many parts from the novel were missing due to lack of time and some personal matters. Anyways, I won’t be uploading the full movie because it’s 55 minutes long and I don’t have the time to reedit the whole movie in order for it to be watchable though I have re-edited some scenes and removed the subtitles for it to be nice. One of those videos I have re-edited was the trailer for the movie. I released this trailer on our group page approximately two weeks before passing the DVD copy of our project. I haven’t released this trailer up until now for my portfolio since it is one of my most proud achievements that I can really tell that I was the one who directed this whole trailer (and the movie as well). This trailer, though, is NOT the original trailer I’ve released back in 2013. It was… ugly that I had to re-edit it for this portfolio. You can watch this newly re-edited trailer below.
It was a really great experience to direct and video edit a movie. I may not become a director one day, since Film is not the course I took, but at least I had a chance to at least showcase my talent.
